WC Illinois | You should probably make sure your comparing apples to apples when you look at the west central il first plot data. I noticed nutech only entered varietys with no rootworm protection to avoid the yield drag associated with the trait. In a plot scenario on bean stubble with insecticide that's fine but how many guys only farm plots on bean stubble surrounded by traited corn to decrease rootworm pressure. I don't care if it's becks, nutech, or any other hybrid everybody has decent hybrids or they wouldn't be in business. Just make sure your comparing comparative trait packages when you consider results. | |
