Burlington, IA | It's always interesting to see the reaction, and watch the guys that are in the tank for Beck's throw a hissy fit whenever mention of another company with ProAccess product, particularly NuTech, is thrown into the discussion. I stand by my earlier comments. If the OP is open to Beck's, then he should be open to any viable alternatives. I made a suggestion. It's up to him what to do with it. I don't care. And if I were attempting to make a sales pitch out of it, I would have suggested that he e-mail me, or call me, and furnished a number. You see none of that in my post. And it's not like you Beck's boys have never thrown mention of Beck's into any threads discussing other corn hybrids. Also, just for the record, I had a pleasant phone conversation with Tom Hooper at Beck's, not long after it became apparent that they knew who had placed that ad in the IA newspapers. I knew/know that some of you Beck's apologists on this forum were just absolutely itching to pin it on me, but just didn't have the guts to open your mouths online, and make the accusation. Probably a good thing too, since Mr. Hooper confirmed it wasn't me (which I already knew, of course), and gave me a good idea of who did, an individual with another company within 30-40 miles of me. Mr. Hooper also graciously offered to put up a post on this site, confirming that I was not involved, to help clear up any suspicions. I declined at the time, and told him I'd take him up on his offer later if I thought it was necessary. But I'm a big boy, and can take care of myself. Cool your jets, boys. JDH
