| Level and tarp the silo as soon as you are done filling.Have the blower running while your in there working for fresh air. Pile silage around the edge of the tarp to seal it off. You will still have spoilage no matter what. Give that cow some extra silage while she's in the barn. Get as much weight on her now as you can and she should be fine and recover quickly after calving. Maybe pull her calf off around breeding time. | |
