Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
If I understand the situation the primary purpose of Keystone is to move tar sands oil south to the Texas refineries. That still leaves the problem of how to move North Dakota oil efficiently, If you look at a national pipeline map there is already an existing crude pipeline running north & south thru eastern ND and Minn. Granted it isn't big enough but it would th only require an extension west thru ND and enlarging the present pipeline.
What is the problem with expanding the existing one or building along beside it. The right of way has already been established, Any environmental problems already exist (maybe bigger but not different).
You do realize Sat, that as a corn & soybean producer your obsession with Keystone is completely irrational. You are arguing for expanding production of your major competitors' product. I can guarantee you that your major competitors (aka the petroleum industry) would not and do not make the mistake of encouraging biofuels production.
You may be willing to sacrifice your children's future prosperity to the gaping maw of Big Oil but please don't sacrifice mine. No disrespect but maybe instead of just "Switching Beer" try laying off a while.
