| Is a chuck steak the same as a round steak? If it is a tougher type of beef, just take it and dredge in flour and brown in small amount of oil. Then take one envelope of onion soup mix and mix that together with a can of cream of chicken soup and one can of water, and pour over the browned steak pieces. Simmer on low for one and a half hours, or you can put it in the crock pot for several hours. (not sure how long because I make it in an electric skillet.) | |
