Subject: RE: Help-considering growing wheat

I am by no means an expert at growing wheat. But I noill it in after beans. Put all fertilizer on in one pass over the top as the frost is leaving. Around here wheat is isnt always guaranteed to make it so I fertilize in the spring once I am sure I am going to keep it. Spray once with whatever whiz bang stuff the co op is pushing for herbicide that year. Then Let it go and harvest. I usually get in upper 70s low 80s for yield.

I hear Phil Nedhams book is a really good one for wheat growers. I plan on reading it some day.
