Down here we are contemplating not planting any. For a cash crop. First time in 50 yrs.

Too much costs of putting it in with low prices. We got our tails tore up this year in wheat. Alpha toxin in the wheat, not to mention head scab really bad even though fungacide was sprayed on the heads. Everybody had it this year. Some patches in the field where heads were nice and clean and it was making 105-110. Black heads was down to 20-35 bu. ended up averaging around 40 bu acre and test weight was 45 on most of it.
We pour the money in wheat going over it 5-6 times usually giving it whatever it needs. So we lost money
