The fringe acres that have high production costs per bu. or high negative basis will shrink. Fewer inputs will reduce yields.
Prices probably won't come up much as the world now knows how to produce and deliver corn cheaper than we can. Prepare for long term 3.00 corn.
Btw Chinas mir 126 has nothing to do with biotech and everything to do with protectionism. They heavily subsidize corn production.
