| Well we planted the largest corn area since the 40's recently, has to be a damned good reason why it took so long. Doesn't take much convincing to go the other way. Most say beans are the default crop but will venture to say there will be a planting carrot. We will chew thru 2014's crop pretty fast. More than likely we planted 89m this this year and it will get down to 86-87 next year. By 2016 we will be looking at running out of corn again due to the fact we don't grow 1994-2004-2009-2014 crops every year. Global supplies will start to shrink due to lower prices discouraging production.
No ground will sit idle in here in ILL in my area. | |
