Pawnee,gage county, neb | Land size status quo can have nothing to do with "growing" every year, we always try to "grow" each year, but there are many other ways to do so & with land prices & rents so high these other ways are much more sensible financially, such as growing more bushels on the land a person already has by better management, marketing, etc. & the way we are growing more on the land we already have is by installing irrigation on all the farms that we can find an adequate water supply to do so, so there are many different ways to grow every year besides adding land, & yeah I get it, I have no problem that you don't need "fronted $" to plant your crop each year, but your fist post made it sound as if you think less of anyone that borrows $ to plant their crop, like I said no two operations are identical in this world | |
