I must not have written my post right if you think that I came in and pushed the rent up to take land away from someone else. I have rented the majority of my land from the same tenants since the mid 90's and a few of them since the mid 80's. Some of them have bought more land and I have also rented that but I have not taken any land away from anyone else. I feel that I have been very generous with raising the rents and paying bonuses to match what someone else would come in and pay but I have also taken good care of their land like it was my own. I think it is unfair to just complain about guys wanting lower rent when you really don't know the whole story or are just bitter because you have not paid enough to rent land and be fair about it.
