west central MN

I have heard quit a few guys say that they need to get their rent lowered and I agree with them. I have not heard anyone say that they have a contract for next year and they need to break the contract to lower their rent. Have you heard guys that are saying they need to break their contracts? I have tried to switch most of my contracts to yearly instead of multi year leases because of how variable farming has been lately so it should not be a surprise to my landlords when we renegotiate the price paid this year. Most of them have seen a yearly increase for about the last 5 years now but that has to change. They enjoyed the good years when the prices were going up with me and now hopefully they will sure the same way when prices are going down.
