You can buy 200+ land for 12 or less if your neighbor doesn't want it enough to bid 14 or more. I guess thats obvious.


We are surrounded by 200 bushel land and I have not seen 20,000 for any unless it is for development...and that is always sad to see but is fairly common...15 a couple years ago was rare but did happen...more like 12 being common.


heck my wifes family farm sold for 60,000 an acre in the chicago suburbs... that was 30 years after they sold out for a couple an acre...
