Could be any number of things.  Take a knife to it or have a vet or vet student post it if you really want answers.

Last time something similar happened here it took me a whole two slits to reveal a set of very beat up set of ribs.  Calf acted fine other than it was a little slow moving earlier in the day.  Just assumed the bull did it and went on.
