IMO for a 17 yr old HS student, you may have paid a little too much. But if it was just for a couple of hours and won't be a regular occurrence, oh well. On the other hand, help is one thing not to cut corners on; happy employees makes the operation run much smoother. It sounds like you may have found a future employee, which is a good thing.
