Subject: RE: driving a chassis cab

NC Iowa

I drove an f-550 reg cab long box cab/chassis truck 120 miles 5 years ago.  Never again, I swore I crapped out everything above my belt on one bridge expansion joint.  Makes a bobtail semi seem like a old cadillac.

At very minimum drop the tire pressure quite a bit on the rear.

If it was me I would take 8-12 RR ties and strap them down over the rear tires, it would add some weight and be good mudflaps and relatively easy to move by hand once you get there to move over to the new truck.
