Thud - 6/25/2014 01:17 Fwiw 40psi in the rears would get a guy pulled off the road here in Ontario . Anything under 50% of rated tire pressure is considered "flat" by the MTO. I like the idea of strapping railroad ties/fence posts or even a lift of plywood to the frame for ballast. What you use is dependent on what you may or may not have a use for after the fact.


For the weight he is pulling, 40psi is much more than 50% of the reccommended tire pressure.  You can't tell me your laws want you running overinflated tires? Car tires are one thing, they don't have large varying loads, commercial tires are inflated to their load. Overinflation is not always good either.
