I bought an 8R for about double what you are talking with only 2300 hours. IVT and ILS are awesome plus a 6-7000 hour JD 8000 has still cost me $6-8/hr in repairs so that is another $2000/yr. I sure like the 8R but I have a bunch of high houred 8000 still running too. Over 10,000 hours gets more expensive.
