I just put a reman transmission in a tractor with 17,000+ hours and the repair cost was as much or more than how much the tractor is worth. JD 8200 2wd. Cost $22,000 total. It was down about a month.
I really don't care how much a repair costs relative to the tractor. Replacement cost of a different tractor needs to factor in also.
