| To answer questions, I'm in iowa. The house was completely remodeled 3 years ago (previous owner flipped it) so matching roof and siding isn't an issue. The house is practically brand new. Reason for wanting a garage is obviously weather and re sale. Small town, tough housing market. My house is the only house on block without a garage. I think come sales time, I will sell it faster with a garage. That's why it hadn't sold when I bought it. The garage would go on back of house and will have two doors into the house. It's actually like when they built the house in 1922 they knew in 2014 someone would want to add a garage. It's perfect. Entrance to garage would be from alley like every house in the area
As far as garage cost goes. I can build detached for about 10k due to several friends owning concrete company electric company ect. Don't know about attached. | |
