central - east central Minnesota - | ohiocutter - 4/18/2014 19:35 Been there, done that! You might only want a 20 footer or so. It can be tough to get a "angle" on them some times on roads with out putting tractor in other ditch. Other option is putting tractor on other side of far ditch and getting a real long one. Hooking under blade will NOT work! Likely be motor grader or other single axle plow truck . . . .. but, yes, 20ft would work. 30fter, I'm thinking would be too long and slide the rear end of the truck down the ditch, instead of pulling straight up the bank. Generally, when a plow truck goes in the ditch, it's because the wing struck something and threw the truck, nose first strength in the ditch. The plow trucks don't seem to go in the ditch as slight angles . . . pretty much 90 degrees - straight in. Thanks for your help and keep it coming . . .. . |
