Martinsville, Ohio

Charles,

In 2011 it rained all of April and May as you remember and it headed out on me.  I sprayed 2 quarts of Gramoxone on it and started notilling LL soybeans and ended up with nearly 70 bu soybeans that year, best crop that farm has ever raised, similar to the soils you farm.

I did it because I had to but you do have a choice.  That mat took care of the Marestail and other weeds and the JD notill drill planted right through the dying rye.  It was hot and it melted right down but you could see the rye residue a year later.  That is still a good farm due to that one incident.
