We've used kelly ryans for 20 years. Don't have a Cadillac operation like Garvo, but it gets the job done for 20% of the cost of a TMR. The bunk is clean the next day, so it must work. Feeding silage and tub ground alfalfa/straw or CRP bales with corn syrup.

I wouldn't try to finish cattle with it but to feed cows and back grounding it serves its purpose. Current one 5*14 purchased 2007 for $1900. Have put about $1200 into it. (elevator chain and unload chain)
