You opened up quite a can of worms. There are some on this forum that take personal offense to someone else taking care of a piece of equipment. I personally believe that if you take care of it, it's going to take care of you. We have two tractors with 38XX hours on them each and 25 years on them. The get cleaned seasonally, waxed annually, and serviced at each interval. Same with the combine. The guys that don't clean up their equipment, more power to them. It's a personal preference that I clean up our equipment. But, I'm also thinking about a few years down the road. Those few hours a year I spend cleaning these things up is going to more than pay for itself when we go to trade it in.
