Fulton County Ohio | The planter and tractor spent the last four weeks at the dealer. The problem was never found. The proposed fix is the addition of relays to supply more amps to the clutches. When auxiliary power is supplied to the clutches the system functions. The diagnosis is a momentary loss of power allows a clutch to misalign. Once this occurs it takes a 1/4 revolution for the clutch to realign. The clutches, harnesses, controller and display have been replaced in an attempt to discover a faulty component. Original equipment has been reinstalled. If the relays make the unit funciton the planter will return to the field without finding the actual problem. This one has Deere stumped. I did not think they would give up, but they did. This is one to forget and move on. | |
