Grabill, Indiana | We use Quickbooks for our farm accounting. We orginally purchased Quickbooks for use in our retail feed store, then added our rental business and farming operation. It works for us, but we have to manipulate the reports to generate profit/loss and expense/income on a per acre basis rather than a farm basis.
We started using the Class Feature with our farms which was a great help in determining the profitability of an individual farm. We learned the basics from the Quickbooks Farm Accounting Cookbook.
