Subject: RE: Quickbooks ?

I've used Quickbooks for over ten years. I find it more "user friendly" than Quicken--but that's just me.

I started with the generic Quickbooks.....but they've ceased selling it, so now I'm up to the PRO version. It has more features than I actually use, but I felt forced to upgrade.

Intuit is VERY good at forcing you to upgrade periodically---whether you wish to, or not. If you use the payroll function, they will cease to support the payroll function about every three years....so then you will be FORCED to buy the newest version in order to regain their support.

Discuss with your accountant, or tax preparer. My Tax person also uses Quickbooks, so it's very easy for me to send her a disc or a thumbdrive periodically, and she can do tax work from that data, without needing to print out lots of reports. showboat
