W. Kansas | We had three 2005 models here at work and they were good pickups. Wish I was still driving the one I had, went backwards with a Ford. I would not get one with a 3.42 rearend, I know your after some mileage, but that thing shifted all the time. Little rise in the road--downshift, headwind--downshift, that was my biggest complaint. Ride is nice, cab could be a little quieter, but better than the Ford.
We pulled headers or utility vehicles around on trailers and the 3.42 was not cut out for that. No trailer probably averaged around 16mpg. | |
