| I live in rural western Oklahoma .......... we are lucky and have several options for rural internet. But none of them are quite like the cable or DSL I have here in the office. And there are quite a few areas that just cant get anything. I deal with a large number of users at Lake Texoma ........... On the texas - oklahoma line. They would give almost anything to have anything availible besides dial up. It is an area where people are will to pay and have the ability to pay .................... and there just isnt anything. One website I use............. a fishing site ................. is very much still designed for people on slower connections because of all the people at the lake with dialup. Its kinda a mixed thing ................. none of us want to live in the city, but we want to bring the city with us. | |
