Damned if you do, damn if you don't with some ground. Want to have a little dirt in the ditch? Or have a tenth acre pothole turn into a 5 acre slough you can't drain because of wetland easements and/or NRCS/FSA rules? No-till has caused just as many problems on some acres as the plow has, especially if you've been farming in a perpetual wet cycle for 30+ years like here in the upper Dakotas
