NW South Dakota | Some guys I know built a heavy duty rear bumper for a salesman who bought a brand new pickup. They used some type of heavy wall pipe and they put two 2" steel ball bearings in it. Whenever salesman would go around a corner he would hear a "clunk clunk"! A month or so goes by and the salesman comes back and they tell him they forgot to install a zerk so he could grease his bumper bearings!! The dealer that sold the pickup had basically torn it apart (new rear end , motor mounts, trans mounts, spring shackles etc). | |
