NW Washington | Get the house sealed up right outside and around doors and windows and proper siding. Brick and store veneers can be a real problem if not done correctly. Seal well to prevent air movement from outside to inside.
I read the Journal of Light Construction once in a while and there always seems to be stories of screw-ups causing expensive damage and repair because of improper construction or materials usually involving moisture damage.
