NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I get my prostate examined at least once if not twice a year just depends on how it is doing. I had a female Dr. do it once and I thought her smaller finger would be less painful but trust me she can make it as unpleasant as a male Dr. can :-(. I hate that part of the exam but am always glad it gets done. I told my wife a female Dr. did it and her only comment was "We'll now you know how I feel when a male Dr examines me". It didn't bother her one bbit I got examined by a female.
