NC Iowa | i had an appt.at the va hospital. wife went with. doc was a female p.a. who was very pleasant.
after the medical questions, she asked my wife to step outside while she did the exam. i would have asked if she didn't, just to respect everyone's sensitivities.
on the way home, wife asked what all the exam included. when i told her, i sensed she wasn't as ok with it as either of us expected she would be.
we have been married for 30 years and this brought out something new.
we stopped at a very nice place for noon meal on the way back. thought i should.
