well if we are being candid then let myself weigh in, as a survivor of the 80's. got a couple things I want to get out there.     just because of the mere fact that you are a farmer doesn't mean that someone owes you a existence, it's a business, run it like one. if things aren't looking good get busy figuring out how to support the bottom line, don't be too proud to do the things to make the business prosper, machinery or toy payments got you under water, get out from some of it now, while it's worth something. things get better down the road buy something back. all the depreciation in the world isn't going to help you if you aren't making any money.       borrowing money to cover living expenses, and entertainment expenses is a bad plan,  like I was told" get a real job, pilgrim".     best advice I ever got.
