North Central Iowa | The real problem in the next 2 years is going to be farmers ability to borrow cash flow money. It's going to be hard to explain to a loan officer why you have not banked more of your own money into to your cash flow when you have a shed full of paint that is all less than 5 years old. There was a reason that your grandfathers and fathers still had 30 year old tractors on the farm. They lived thru tough times and remembered them. In the last 5 years some of these younger farmers that have not lived thru tough times have burned more diesel fuel thru their new pickups than they have in their farm operations. | |
