In elementary we got to go to the cafeteria and played Oregon Trail on a teletype. They dialed the phone and put the handset into rubber cups for modem.

High school took me to Apples and college to TIs and Apple IIc that had the beginnings of integrating products like Office does now.

First computer purchased was Epson Equity I. An IBM 8086 clone. I even had a color monitor and 10MB Hard drive.
Purchased a spreadsheet clone for $99 when brand name was well over $300. Started logging harvest data with it right away. We had a scale on the farm so I was able to keep great records with it!
After 1 1/2 years my hard drive failed. Replaced it with a 20MB and have backed up my computers ever since.
