I have a ground-source heat pump,for a furnace in my house. In the winter it runs nonstop.is that normal? Also is there a way to put a supplemental heat source on it like electric, to help it warm the house faster and not run constantly? It is fairly cheap to run but it is noisy when it runs and gets annoying after 10months of winter.
