West Central IA | There is a difference with hogs though. They had short term liquidation of small pigs that would have hit the market late fall and early winter. That in itself would not have changed much. Add on death loss from illness and sows would not breed back has moved that market to a whole new level. I am not sure what the illness was, but it was nasty as there were alot of custom feeders with empty barns for a while. | |
