West Union, Illinois | You will at times regret it, but other times be very glad you did. We never actually lived on the farm. Always in the country, but the actual "farm" was at Gramps and Dad's. We lived in old farm houses on ground Dad or Gramps rented. When we finally bought our own home it was not connected to anyplace we farmed. I can actually see benefits to that. When you go home you are not constantly seeing things needing done. And if and when the operation is transferred to the next generation it can make some things a lot cleaner and simpler |
