We’re moving to a rural subdivision today, away from the farm.
We have been planning this for quite a while, today’s the day!
For the past 35 years we have lived here. We moved here in 86, newlyweds, to begin our farming career.
We lived in a drafty, neglected old farmhouse for nearly 7 years until we built a new house. We raised 5 kids here, I’d hate to think how many miles we drove going to basketball, football, soccer games, and music programs let alone to school.
Looking forward to letting our son take on more responsibility, being here with his family, and enjoy the benefits of living on the farm.
Good move, but don't stick any child with an aging house. Been Here, Doing that. |
