NW IA | No till into spring terminated alfalfa. In corn after beans or NT beans 3.9-4
I don't think going faster in 90% of what I do would hurt anything, I just don't have that much to do so I take it easy.
The reason for the slow speed in NT alfalfa- The surface is firm and I have spring "guess and go" down pressure. So I figure a millisecond more time allows the opening disc to get to where I want it to go.
