North Central Iowa | Was cutting Asparagus in the road ditch and noticed something different not to far away so I went to look.
I have never seen anything like that before, there were what looks to be thousands of ants in this Colony.
Nest was a little bigger around than a 5 gal bucket.
This is in a road ditch in north central Iowa
After Google search I'm glad I didn't disturb them
