Subject: Drought of 1964 versus 2021?

In concerning times about the crop and conditions of what to do, I talk with some the older more experienced farmers I know.  The good farmers tha I know in the  70 - 90 age bracket keeping talking about this year comparing it to 1964!  Cool dry spring no snow and then after Memorial Day it got hot and stayed hot all the way through to the end of the state fair.  Crop by far across the entire Midwest was horrible that year.  Anyone have a corn price chart of that year?  It’s dry, just no moisture in the air at all to prime the pump all spring. Now the temps are rising next week.  It’s gonna get serious soon in northern and central Iowa!
