My dad talks of grandpa chopping 2 rows of corn with a 630 John Deere in one gear below road gear in the early sixties....... my other grand father talked about planting Milo for grain during the same time frame as corn seemed to always fail???????

I personally feel our wet spell has ended and the ocean waves we call weather is changing. Our part of South Dakota had a boat load of clay tile installed in the 1910’s and 20’s.......it was all forgotten during the depression. Many records of lines were lost after multiple bankruptcies took place in the 30’s. Many of those lines have been replaced the last 20-30 years: ocean waves......makes one wonder what the second half of my career will bring? Guess we’ll find out.
