I haven’t looked these codes up yet but here they are:
You have a few odd things going on here. 3028 is Low Oil Pressure 3156 is Intake Air Heater open load error 3581 is Torque Limitation (Derate) active due to the SCR 3 strike rule. Has to be reset with an EST. 3533 is downstream Nox sensor 3358 I get No Result 3119 ECU 12 volt supply Low
Thanks.
I should mention when I turned the key on to check codes the first thing that popped up was a low voltage alarm, said 11V.
I’m wondering if the alternator failed and I just hadn’t noticed yet. Wondering if all kinds of stuff is going crazy due to low voltage.
Going to separate batteries and load test to see which one is more dead. Might swap them. Might charge them if I think I have to.
I just realized, last night I was testing a connection on the planter 20 min before this happened and it said 13.5V so I doubt the alternator is the issue.
Filter and oil out of the housing had nothing obviously bad going on.
Going to pull the oil pressure sensor off and look at it for the heck of it. Have one with me ($107 I think) and I’ll probably just replace it because it’s easy.
Then I’ll throw a new oil filter in and fire it up with jumper cables connected to make sure it has good voltage to read sensors as it fires up.
