I heard a Dr. on the radio this morning talking about how/why the Covid vaccine got on the market so quickly, and it did make some sense.
One, the government funded the research, they provided the money needed to the drug companies. The CEOs did not have to go to a board of directors and explain how this would/could be a financially responsible endeavor.
Also, a lot of the red tape was lifted concerning drug trials.....finding folks to take an experimental drug was much simplified.
This still, in my mind, does not answer the pregnant or childbearing age women questions.......but it does help me understand HOW we got this on the market so quickly.
Good grief Mark, calm down. You seem to be completely obsessed with this vaccine stuff. I've lost track of how many threads YOU have started about it. Not commented on, but started.
You got the vaccine yourself for crying out loud so what's the deal with whining about it all the time? It's not like the subject hasn't been beaten to death here already. |
