West Central Iowa | My wife and I are heading to the UP of Michigan later this summer and I am not sure what the must see/do things are? We know we want to go to Mackinaw City and Mackinak Island.
It seems like someone here once recommended an auto museum, maybe in the Detriot area.
On the way out we are going around the south side of lake Michigan and on the way home we want to cross over to Duluth and head back south to Iowa. We will be driving a pickup with a pickup camper, on it so we are planning on camping other then maybe one night on Mackinak Island. Not real sure how much time we are going to spend, but may be able to get away for up to 2 weeks so we need some things to see.
