South Western Michigan | From Granger, IN heading North along the lake shore there are so many things to do and see that you could take a week or two just getting to the U.P... All depends what you are interested in. Many cool towns along the lake with South Haven and then further north, Traverse City being our favorites. My wife and I go to Traverse City over Thanksgiving weekend every year. This year we're going to South Haven for Memorial Day weekend. We'll take the bikes and ill take my golf clubs. I can just cruise the back roads checking out the scenery to kill a few days. I've always said I'm not sure why people from Michigan leave the state for vacation with all there is to do here. Lol Someday I will regret not being more well traveled. I hope you guys have a great trip! | |
