I remember kids carrying pocket knives to school, and bringing guns.
Just farm kids with pocket knives, never heard of a problem.
Guns were for the science fair, lot of reloaders and other such demonstrations.

Absolutely. I doubt I ever took off for school without a pocket knife in my pocket. Habit as much as anything. I would guess 90% of the boys in my high school had a pocket knife in their pocket. No big deal. Lots of guys (teachers too for that matter) came to school with guns in their truck. I know for a fact that our ag teacher, woods teacher, construction teacher and at least one of our guidance counselors had a gun in their vehicle. That's just the ones I am positive did. Never had an issue.
